Computers....uhhh

I tell you....when computers work they are fabulous, but when they fall apart, they suck!!

Lahna and I took a day trip to Quanah & Vernon yesterday to visit friends. We had a blast! We went by the elementary school and visited with everyone. They finally got to see Lahna for the first time. Then we headed to Vernon to visit my friend Tracey. It was fun but we were short on time. When Tracey and I get to talking we get to TALKING and time flies by. We decided that we'll have to get together for the day and that probably still won't be enough time! When we did finally get home, I had been thinking that I need to update our pictures and save them to our CDs. Our computer has been acting funky so I better do it before something crazy happens to it. Well wouldn't you know.....I turn on the computer and it's bringing up our desktop and right before the icons come on...it shuts itself OFF! It won't come back on at all..sooooo..today I called the computer people in town and took it over there. Hopefully it's something simple and we can get it back next week! At least we have the laptop, I just hope we haven't lost our recent pictures of Ethan and Lahna. We had that happen in Vernon when our antenna was struck by lightning and it fried our computer and we lost alllllllllll of our pictures! I just pray that hasn't happened again. So there won't be any pictures on here any time soon!!!

On another note...I still don't have my wedding ring! The jewelers in Abilene couldn't find a baguette the right size so I called David Gardners in College Station (where we bought our rings from) to find out why it was so hard to find a simple baguette. Well the two stores have different places they get their diamonds from so I had the guy in Abilene call David Gardners and they are in the process of finding my baguette. I didn't think it would take a month to do all of this but hopefully it will be done soon!
