We had a GREAT Easter weekend! The weather was pretty nice overall for egg hunts. Between egg hunts and Easter Sunday church service, the kids are tuckered out. It's been wonderful-to bad family lives so far away!
I thought Ethan & Lahna looked so adorable for school.
Ross & I had an egg hunt in the back yard for the kids and they had a blast.
Sunday morning before the egg hunt and church. I think they look so cute in their Easter attire. Lahna still isn't keen on the dresses so we don't wear them that often, but I am sure she'll get used to them.
This is the church kids getting ready for the egg hunt. Ethan and Lahna are in the front row to the right. Ethan has his hand over his face because they are looking into the sun. Nate is sitting in between Ethan and Lahna.
Here is Lahna in her first official egg hunt. She got like 6 eggs because she's little and slow, but she didn't seem to care one bit. She seemed to have a great time. She would rather sit and play with the plastic egg than eat the candy which is ok with me.
I was proud of how well Lahna carried her bucket with her to get her eggs. She acted like a pro even though she was slow. It was sooo cute!
Ethan did a GREAT job on hunting....he had his whole bucket FULL to the brim! We couldn't believe how many he got. Then I looked around at the others and theirs were full as well. We just had a ton of eggs for the kids.
The kids are done egg hunting and I actually got another picture of them together. Of course they would rather go in and open their eggs to see how much candy they got. We did have one "snafoo" though- Lahna was walking on the side walk looking for Ethan and she tripped and skinned her knees. Yep bloody knees in the Easter dress! We didn't start church off to well with skinned knees, but what can you do. It happens!
